Check This Out: How Marvel Congratulated ‘Jurassic World’ For Beating ‘Avengers’ Box Office Record
So you’ve probably heard by now,Jurassic WorldbeatThe AvengersU.S. box office opening record. Colin Trevorrow’sJurassic Parksequel grossed $208,806,270 in the opening weekend, just enough to overtake Joss Whedon’sThe Avengers' $207.4 million record from 2012. Marvel Studios has published an image online to congratulate the “new box office king.” Check it out, after the jump.
The illustration featuresChris Pratt’s character Owen riding a T-Rex looking down uponThe Avengers, which includes Thor, Iron Man, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Captain America and The Hulk. Also notice that the T-Rex is holding Thor’s mighty hammer.
