Cool Stuff: Eric Tan And Tyler Stout’s Posters For The Warriors
The Alamo Drafthouse will be holding screenings ofThe Warriors, andMondo Teeshas commissioned a bunch of artists to create a series of posters to promote the screening. The first wave of posters were created by two of my favorite artists,Eric TanandTyler Stout.
We’ve featured many of artistEricTan’s creations in past Cool Stuff columns: we’ve spotlighted his workfor past Pixar productions,X-Men,LOST, among other things.Tanhas been creating a series of posters for the Indiana Jones film series. We’ve been writing about artistTylerStoutsince I first foundhis “Remember the Alamo” posterat the Alamo Drafthouse. The Austin based artist frequently provides kick ass posters for the Alamo’s special events, most of which we have featured on /Film:Robocop,The Road Warrior,Spaced,Hellride,Big Trouble in Little China, The Lost Boys, The Warriors,The Thing,Blade Runner,Total RecallandThe Big Lebowski.
