‘Justice League’ Blu-Ray Special Features Announced; Sorry, Still No Snyder Cut
TheJustice LeagueBlu-ray has just been announced, packed full of special features, none of them the Snyder Cut. Yes, despite petitions and online outrage, Warner Bros. is just going to go ahead and plop the regular theatrical cut ofJustice Leagueon Blu-ray in March. The other day we reported that, despite evidence of several deleted scenes fromJustice League, the upcoming Blu-ray release would only featureone bonus scene. Well, I have some good news. It seems like it’s actually bonusscenes. As in plural. However, the scenes in question seem to all be focused around Superman, as they’re included in a segment called “The Return of Superman.” Which means deleted scenes featuring the other characters are still likely a no-go.
This will no doubt disappoint fans who pine for the mythical “Snyder Cut” of the film (I say mythical because it doesn’t actually exist, folks; sorry). That said, I wouldn’t be surprised if Warner Bros. eventually double-dipped and released a newJustice Leaguewith even more deleted scenes. Time will tell. In addition to that, there are features here about the journey of the film from comics to screen; individual features devoted to certain action scenes; a feature all about costume design, and more.
