Learn The Voice Actors Behind Your Favorite Cartoon & Video Game Characters [Infographic]
The field of voice acting is a wholly unique one. In some ways, voice acting can be more difficult than acting on-camera, mostly because so much emotion has to come purely from the voice, without the assistance of facial expressions or body language. Many times it’s the voice that informs how a character is depicted, and that’s why it’s so surprising to learn that the same actors are behind the voices of many different cartoon and video game characters we know and love.
A new infographic lays out just some of the voice actors who are responsible for bringing various characters to life in video games likeUnchartedandThe Last of Usas well as animated series likeThe Simpsons, FuturamaandScooby-Doo. Check out the famous voice actors infographic after the jump.

As you may see, this list includes some of the more famous voice actors such asDan Castellaneta, the voice of Homer Simpson, andBilly West, the voice of Philip J. Fry fromFuturama. But they also include some names you may haven’t heard of before, such asJim Ward, Captain Qwark fromRatchet & Clank, andCharlie Adler, the voice of Buster Bunny fromTiny Toon Adventures.
Some personal revelations that I had from this infographic included learning thatJessica Walter(the mother fromArrested Development) was the voice of the longneck known as “Old One” in various movies inThe Land Before Timefranchise. Also, I had no idea thatFrank Welkerhad done the voice of Totoro, Scooby-Doo and Abu.
