Marvel’s ‘Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Gets New Poster; Joss Whedon Talks Daily Involvement And Story Context
Marvelfans need only wait another few weeks before the latest addition to their favorite universe. No,Thor: The Dark Worldhasn’t been moved up from its November opening. The ABC showMarvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. premieres September 24 and as that date slowly approaches, more and more information on the show is revealed.
Peter’salready seen the whole pilotand, this weekend, it screened again at the Television Critics Association event. There, reporters talked to producersJoss Whedon, Jeph Loeband others about the show. The pair once again discussed connections between the S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, just how involved Whedon will be onceAvengers: Age of Ultronstarts filming and more.

Honestly their biggest note after we presented the thing was, they wanted to make sure our investment in the characters and their interaction was as big as the case of the week. Which is how I’ve done all of my shows. I was told NOT to learn a new skill.

I’m reading every script, every story, and giving notes and re-writes. I just can’t be in the room every day. The group I have shares this hard-to-convey idea of how I want the show to feel.
But will he direct another episode after the pilot?
I don’t think it will happen again for the next couple years, because I’m getting behind another camera in another country.
